Sr. Marketing Manager, Service Professional Operations
ServiceMagic is looking for an experienced, innovative Senior Marketing Manager to develop and manage an aggressive, value building and measurable Marketing outreach program to our current and prospective Service Professionals. We are looking for an ROI focused Marketing expert with a public relations expertise. This role requires an individual that can work closely and collaboratively with a cross-functional team at all levels of the business. Position reports to Director, Service Professional Marketing.

Major Duties & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for Email Marketing, Campaign Management and Brand Messaging
- Develop and implement a marketing strategy for existing customers to highlight the benefits of the service as well as promote new features.
- Be a driver of ROI, aligning marketing strategy, plans and execution with quantitative / financial measures, controls and outcomes.
- Champion communication channels for our prospective and existing customers that allow them to provide feedback as well as create community amongst our customer base.
- Point of contact for high priority customers through key partnerships
- Coordinate interactive customer communication tools such as blogs, forums, etc. on different business related topics as well as feedback mechanisms about their experience with ServiceMagic.
- Implement and promote training and webinars educating our customers on online lead generation marketing, in effort to maximize their marketing opportunities.
- Proactively seek out and create opportunities for positive press in major industry, business and online publications/websites.
- Research industry tradeshows, conferences and symposium and determine appropriateness of pitching company executives for panels, keynotes and educational sessions, as well as coordinate logistics and marketing of these events.
- Write and edit company press releases, feature story pitches, contributed articles and case studies.
- Track all company media/press coverage and promote to both external and internal partners
- Recruit Service Professionals as spokespeople for retention, acquisition and PR campaigns.
- Explore innovative ways to leverage ServiceMagic’s core assets – community, editorial, brand, technology – for marketing purposes
- Strong analytical skills – ability to compile, analyze and produce recommendations based upon rudimentary performance and financial data.
- Contribute to writing/editing of marketing and sales materials.
- Work with internal departments to produce, edit and publish content (video, audio, photography, and copy)
Required Experience:
- BA or equivalent professional Marketing experience
- The successful candidate will possess a minimum of 8 years business experience and 5 years of successful Marketing experience.
- Outstanding written communication skills are a must. No exceptions. Writing samples required.
- Proven track record of achieving positive coverage in major national and regional publications.
- Superior analytical and problem solving skills with demonstrated abilities to understand key performance drivers and execute against findings.
- Excellent verbal communication skills including public speaking and negotiation experience
- In-depth expertise in Marketing (methodologies and processes) both theoretical and demonstrated
- Ability to synthesize information from numerous sources, work with incomplete data, and present concise analyses to senior managers.
- Strong attention to detail
- High-energy personality with roll-up-your-sleeves approach
