The DaVita interactive marketing team creates, markets, and operates a variety of content-rich websites (ex: DaVita.com, YourKidneys.com) that offer educational information, interactive tools and services to the dialysis and CKD community. A self-starter who insists on creating innovative products and has the ability to apply best-practice web technologies to meet business objectives will succeed in this role.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Develop, design, deploy and maintain web infrastructure, features and improvements for consumer facing websites (DaVita.com, YourKidneys.com, DialysisFinder.com).

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop, design, deploy, and maintain Marketing’s consumer-facing web infrastructure, features and improvements

• Gather requirements and objectives for web projects from stakeholders

• Recommend web solutions to meet objectives

• Execute and implement web solutions on time and on budget

• Support the online marketing project initiatives of DaVita’s strategic business units as needed or requested

• Attend team meetings, phone conferences, and training as needed

• Know, understand, and follow teammate guidelines, employment policies, and department or company procedures

• Travel required up to 5%

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• 2-4 years minimum experience in developing and designing websites

• 2-4 years minimum experience in each of the following fields & skills:

• Web Development – Coldfusion 8, PHP, HTML, XML, CSS

• Database design & administration – Microsoft SQL Server & MySQL

• Version control – Subversion (SVN)

• IDE – Eclipse or Dreamweaver

• Ektron CMS400.NET (Strong plus)

• Information architecture

• IIS Server

• Experience with Mobile Application Frameworks and Programming. (iPhone SDK, Android SDK)

• Excellent troubleshooting skills and outstanding organization, documentation and planning skills

• Rich internet application development – Flash, Flex, ActionScript (Strong plus)

• User experience design

• Graphic design

• Search engine optimization

• WDDX

• BA/BS

Other desired skills:

Familiar with qForms, jQuery, and other AJAX libraries, Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator, Fireworks.

ESSENTIAL BEHAVIORS, SKILLS AND ATTITUDES REQUIRED FOR SUCCESS IN THIS POSITION:

• Demonstrated ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a development and design team environment.

• Knowledge and experience with user centered design practices.

• Experience with self-service applications, portal development, content management and/or SharePoint.

• Background in applying IT security policies and data resource management principles

• Knowledge of current health industry issues in the areas of privacy, security implementation, data management, and usability.

• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.

• Excellent interpersonal skills.
